Testimonial
Meet Karen Dawe, our Project Controls and Estimating Manager! Karen started her career at Crux in 2004 immediately following obtaining her degree in Business Administration. She credits her time spent early on at Crux, as the Logistics Coordinator, for learning the culture and specifics of the industry we serve. Karen quickly transitioned to the role of Project Estimator and assisted with proposal development for geotechnical exploration and foundation construction projects. She now leads that department and oversees all project estimating for the company.
“Education comes in many forms. Working for a construction company was not something I pursued directly but has been a natural fit. I have grown into a confident leader at Crux and find it challenging and rewarding to work within the competitive environment of construction estimating. There are so many directions you can go within an industry this broad; it takes many talents for companies to be successful.”
